A handy series of different size Squares in Running Stitch look for Embossing using the PCA® Small Ball Tool. These squares are not just squares though! They take advantage of the trendy hand sewn border/frame look that is so popular for cardmaking or scrapbooking. Mix and Match! Use inside/outside a plain embossed square for texture and modern detail. In parchment craft these stitches look WHITE when embossed but only raised on the right side of cardstock... however, if you use a white core cardstock you can make the stitches look white by scuffing away the top layer with fine grit sand paper and revealing the stitching! A clear sharp embossing result is easily achieved with excellent depth. Very quick and easy to use. Slightly different to other embossing templates. Actual stitches are cutouts in the template which you emboss using the Small Ball Tool. Place vellum on top of template. Hold vellum in position with small pieces of ‘Blu-Tack’ or similar. Not necessary to use a light box unless using paper or card stock
